The use of data in SMEs is still at an early stage, which slows the development of solutions that can scale internationally. In Uusimaa, this is reflected in the relatively small number of data driven growth companies. The newly launched DATASTEP project strengthens SMEs’ data economy skills and the role of RDI actors in supporting data driven business. The goal is to accelerate company growth and increase the region’s attractiveness to international actors.
