In the recently launched LogDigiS project of TIEKE and LAB University of Applied Sciences, we promote digital skills, work well-being and productivity of small enterprises in the field of in-house logistics in the digital transformation.

Our project builds a data model where delivery drivers can access additional information on their destinations not apparent from a street address. When drivers know beforehand about roadworks, detours, dimensions of narrow gates or separate delivery entrances, deliveries become smoother and more cost-effective.

In this project we eradicated delays in the “last metre stage” of commercial deliveries, combining silent city knowledge of drivers with delivery address information.

Having worked in the field of administration for the Ministry of Transport and Communications since 2016, Noora Lähde is the right person to open up benefits of TIEKE membership for the organisation that sets society’s ground rules.
